Product Description
The original W110 series was manufactured from 1961 to 1968. It shared the body with the largely identical W111 series, which was built from 1959. Daimler Benz made concessions to American car designs with the tail fins. Furthermore, the model series already had stable passenger compartments and effective crumple zones.
The 230 was powered by a 2.3 liter in-line six-cylinder engine with 105 hp, later even with 120 hp. Over 40,000 units were produced at the time.
