Product Description
Faithful reproduction of a BMW 501, nicknamed the Baroque Angel due to ist Curved limes. The 501 was the first BMW passenger car from Munich. Previously, all passenger cars were produced in Eisenach. The 501 was powered by a 6-cylinder engine with 120 hp. The 502 was equipped with a 8-cylinder engine. In total, BMW was only able to produce just over 23,000 vehicles.
The Bauer model of a BMW 501 black was first offered in 1996. The models now produced differ from the earlier models. The bodywork is identical and comes from leftover stock, the chassis is different.
Technology/driving
Equipped with a Dash pancake chassis. This chassis is dimensionally identical to the Thunderjet 500 chassis used previously.
