Product Description
Faithful reproduction of a Ford Taunus Transit panel van with advertising for a Laundry Rental Regina. Ford manufactured this small van from 1953 to 1965. It was available with three different payloads: 800kg, 1000kg or 1250kg. The panel van was notable for its flat cargo area with two large doors for easy loading. However, it never posed a threat to its competitors from Wolfsburg.
The Bauer model of a Ford Taunus Transit panel van was first offered in 1999. The models now produced differ from the earlier models. The bodywork is identical and comes from leftover stock, the chassis is different.
Technology/driving
Equipped with a Dash pancake chassis. This chassis is dimensionally identical to the Thunderjet 500 chassis used previously.
