Product Description
The Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0, introduced in 1974, was a significant development in the evolution of the 911 as a high-performance racing vehicle. It was designed specifically for the Group 4 racing category and marked a transition from the previous 2.8 RSR model. The RSR 3.0 featured a 3.0-liter Boxer engine with 330 PS and 303 Nm of torque, providing exceptional power and agility. The car was known for its lightweight construction and aerodynamic design, which contributed to its competitive performance in various racing events.
This model is a replica of a Gelo Team 74 RSR that competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 15–16, 1974. Georg Loos fielded 2!! 74 RSRs in that race. Unfortunately, both cars retired due to mechanical failures and did not reach the finish line. The car that served as the model for our replica was driven at the time by Georg Loos himself and by Clemens Schickentanz.
