Product Description
Faithful replica of a Ford Capri RS2600 in racing version. Ford built the first version of the Capri from 1968 to 1973 and produced approximately 784,000 units. The powerful RS2600 version was the basis for use as a racing car in touring car races. In the period from 1970.
The model for our exclusive model was entered in the 1972 24 Hours of Spa race by the Dutch racing team FRAMI-RACING. The two drivers, Jean-Claude Franck and Klaus Fritzinger, finished 11th overall, with Jochen Mass and Hans-Joachim Stuck winning in a factory Ford Capri. Second and third place went to other Ford Capri RS2600s.
Only 75 units will be produced in this design, which will be delivered exclusively to subscribers of the RACING HEROES 70s series. Not available for sale in stores.
