Product Description
True to the original replica of a Ford Taunus Transit FK1000.
In the early 1960s, Ford Cologne had a small van in its range called the FORD TAUNUS TRANSIT. Equipped with a front engine from passenger car production, the Transit was offered in many variations. Tradesmen could order the Transit as a panel van, while Ford had an 8-seater with all-round glazing in its range for large families. The good space concept and the attractive price were the basis for body stores to offer emergency vehicles. The Transit was very well suited for use as an ambulance.
The Bauer model of an ambulance in light beige was offered for the first time in 2002. The models now produced differ from the earlier models. The bodywork, which comes from leftover stock, is identical, but the drive technology is different.
