Product Description
Faithful reproduction of a Ford Taunus Transit Minibus burgandy. Ford manufactured this small van from 1953 to 1965. It was available with three different payloads: 800kg, 1000kg or 1250kg. The Minibus was licensed for 8 People. The seats could be removed. However, it never posed a threat to its competitors from Wolfsburg.
The Bauer model of a Ford Taunus Transit minibus was first offered in 1999. The models now produced differ from the earlier models. The bodywork is identical and comes from leftover stock, the chassis is different.
Technology/driving
Equipped with a Dash pancake chassis. This chassis is dimensionally identical to the Thunderjet 500 chassis used previously.
