Product Description
Tru-to-life replica of a Ford Taunus 17M Station Wagon. Taunus was the name given to all Ford models manufactured in Germany. The P2 model series belonged to the upper middle class and was manufactured from 1957 to 1960. The design was based on American road cruisers, which had fashionable tail fins at that time. The passenger car could be ordered with 2 or 4 doors, but the station wagon was only available with 2 doors and a split tailgate. The P2 was even exported to the USA.
The Bauer model of a Ford Taunus 17M Station Wagon in golden yellow was first offered in 1992. This model was one of the first 6 Bauer models. The models now produced differ from the earlier models. The bodywork is identical and comes from leftover stock, the chassis is a Dash chassis
