Product Description
Adam Opel AG offered the Kadett as a lower mid-range model. The third generation (letter C) was even more successful than its predecessors and was produced in an unprecedented variety of versions. The Kadett C was planned by General Motors for worldwide production and was given the internal designation T-CAR. In England, the Kadett was offered under the name Vauxhall Chevette, while in the USA it was called the Chevrolet Chevette. Visually, the Vauxhall and Chevrolet models differed from the German Kadett. The Kadett was built from 1973 to 1979. Approximately 1.6 million vehicles were manufactured.
Technology driving operation
- The model is equipped with an electric chassis UltraLow. Special features:
- no traction magnet, soft drift possible in the curves
- super-flat chassis, which enables a very detailed interior
- detailed and true to original rims of the manufacturer ''Vincent 1/64''
- UL chassis needs same electricity as a comparable model from Faller-AMS or an old Thunderjet 500. We recommend a handheld controller with 120 ohms and the use of an adjustable power supply.
Model
- body is made of colored resin / polyurethane using the casting technique.
- trim strips are imprinted in an abrasion-resistant manner using pad printing
- details are reproduced with decals (wet slide)
- interior fully replicated
- driver is painted time-consuming by hand
- will be delivered in a sturdy soft plastic box
- in production since 01/2026
