Product Description
True to the original of a Ford Taunus Transit FK1000. Ford Cologne produced these vans with the designation TAUNUS from 1961 to 1965. The FK1000 was very popular with fire departments and rescue services due to its good vehicle concept with front engine, flat cargo space of 5 cubic meters and very wide rear door.
The Bauer model of a fire department emergency vehicle was first offered in 2001. The models now produced differ from the earlier models. The bodywork is identical and comes from remaining stocks, the technology is different:

Technology/driving
Equipped with a UltraLow UL2-S chassis. This chassis is dimensionally identical to the Thunderjet 500 chassis used previously.

- We recommend a hand controller with 120 Ohm and the use of an adjustable power supply up to max. 18 volts.
- Electronic flashing light with blue bulb

- The body is made of colored resin/polyurethane using the casting technique.
- The model is not painted.
- Details are reproduced with decals (wet slide).
- The interior is reproduced. Hand-painted driver figure sits in the model.
