Product Description
Faithful replica of a Ford Capri RS2600 in racing version. Ford built the first version of the Capri from 1968 to 1973 and produced approximately 784,000 units. The powerful RS2600 version was the basis for use as a racing car in touring car races. In the period from 1970.
The prototype for this model was entered as a factory car by FORD GERMANY in the 1972 TOUR DE FRANCE AUTOMOBILE race. The two drivers, Gerard Larrousse and Johnny Rives, had to retire due to a defective differential. What makes this vehicle so special is the eye-catching advertising for the French paint manufacturer RIPOLIN.
